EE/CS 010A (WI 2025-26)
This course is intended to give the student a fundamental understanding of the major hardware principles involved in the specification and design of embedded systems. The course will cover basic digital logic, CPU and embedded system architecture, and basic embedded system hardware. The next term of the course (EE/CS 10b) covers embedded system programming. The class is intended for students who wish to gain a basic understanding of embedded systems. For a deeper understanding of this material this course can be followed by EE/CS 119 (for advanced digital logic and CPU architecture) and/or EE 110 (for advanced embedded system design).
